Whistling Straits

Sheboygan County, Wisconsin

Whistling Straits is located in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. It is apart of the American Club which is an absolutely beautiful venue to stay at if you are looking to go on a complete golfing trip. The American Club and Whistling Straits are owned by the Kohler Company which is famous for their products and impact on the local community.

Whistling Straits is a course with 36-holes and a links-style set up which makes it quite some fun. Whistling Straits is home to numerous amounts of golfing events each year making it an attraction for both professionals and amateur golf players. https://www.great-answer.com/

TPC Sawgrass (Players Stadium)

Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

TPC Sawgrass (Players Stadium) is truly outstanding. It was created with a vision from former PGA-Tour Commissioner Deane Beman. Beman wanted to have a stadium style golf course to make it easier for golf fans to watch the game as spectators as shown in the photo above.

It is said to be a course of great difficulty due to its vast amounts of waters, bunkers, and greens making it a great challenge for any golfer looking for a new obstacle.

Chambers Bay

University Place, Washington

Chambers Bay is an absolutely beautiful course and should be toward the top of every golfers list of places to go. Golf Digest named Chambers Bay as America’s Best New Public Course of 2008. Around the same time, Chambers Bay was also awarded the 2010 U.S. Amateur and 2015 U.S. Open. Overall, Chambers Bay proved to be extremely difficult for golfers, both in the firmness of its dry fescue turf and its difficulties around and on the windswept greens. This course is a good fit for the golfer looking to have a new obstacle thrown their way and is open to both amateurs and professionals.

Kapaula (Plantation)

Kapaula, Hawaii

Kapaula (Plantation) is in the perfect destination for a good golfing trip. It is in beautiful Hawaii where you can take part in numerous other activities to add to your golfing fun, making it a destination to bring the whole family.

A fun fact about the Kapaula's Plantation course is that it was built on an old pineapple farm which is still evident on the golf course today. They still use the same irrigation system that they used several years ago back when it was the farm.

Not matter where one goes to golf it will always be it's own experience. Make sure to check out every course that you can both local and far from home and maybe just maybe you will find your own hidden gem of a course.
